Postcards from the Ledge

Here are some words and some pics from choir life:

Sharyn wrote: "To all my local choral friends...this is such a beautiful group and so talented I always treasure the performance of Waratah Girls Choir at our Wedding 22 years ago...just magic!"

Lauren wrote: No matter how long you were a part of the choir, the life lessons, friendships, memories, music and love carry you through every moment you live.

Cornelia wrote: No other choir ever enticed me to stay for 10 years, let alone travel over 3 hrs each way to rehearsals. WGC taught, influenced and affected me as a whole person. It was not just about high quality singing, though it was definitely that. It was also about excellent leadership, spiritual beliefs, friendships that last a lifetime and it became a family. I learnt so much from being in the choir and I now teach my own choirs and try to instill all I learnt in WGC in the choir students I have.

Elizabeth wrote:  The opportunity to be part of a 'family' that was supportive & encouraging of all its members. Learning leadership skills, having soooo much fun at practice & camps, & making life long friends. The best experience for any girl!

Chrissy wrote:  Being a part of the choir, with all the camps, friends and overseas trips - was the best thing about my teenage years!
